WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We showcase creative writing and imagery that relates to the purpose of the magazine, connecting youth with seniors and celebrating age.
The topics that we cover most are mortality, aging, ageism (discrimination based on age), history, identity, family, culture and war.
We accept non-fiction, fiction, memoir, poetry and commentary.
~We also accept illustration & photography.

PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS
Lester's Army Magazine pays for submissions from seniors to encourage more seniors to write and publish in our magazine.
The current rate is 10 cents per word.
